Why I'm Majoring In Biology 

I wanted to become a teacher and maybe major in elementary education as there were several teachers within my family. Although this seemed fulfilling, I knew I was more interested in the science within the world around us. I went back and forth for a while, but then landed on biology as there are so many fields of work you can go into after your schooling.

Was Structure A Factor In Baltimore Key Bridge Collapse?

In the aftermath of the collapse of Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge in the early morning of March 26, authorities are trying to figure out how the collision of the heavily traveled structure with a container cargo ship brought it crumbling down into the Patapsco River. UNH bridge construction expert Erin Bell, chair and professor of civil and environmental engineering at UNH, also wonders what went wrong. She points to the structure of the bridge as a possible weakness.
